It is ok to hit the reset button

I found this idea from a book that I am currently reading.  The Greatest Reset.  You're wanted to give up, So you don't understand why your blog is not successful.  Did you know that most professional bloggers weren't successful, when they started out in blogging.

Within the first year, there is so much to learn, it is not impossible to  start an successful blog from the start.  You are learning how to write post and create  compelling content all with  outstanding headlines. You were able to learn the working of facebook and twitter on how to promote your blog and content as well.

Understanding the working of wordpress, blogger,  or whatever platform that you are using.   It is not time to quit. you don't know what to do next.

Hitting the reset button:

Don't give up on your blog, just push the reset button.  It is not about that your blog is not good. It's just  that you were new  when you started out blogging. I can say that this has happen to most bloggers when they start out, including myself.

You didn't know what to write about, you didn't understand how to write for an audience.  When I started I really didn't know to write a post  or how to write the catchy title  and even a introduction to what I was wanting to write about.

It was starting to make sense that you wouldn't be successful when you just starting out with blog.  Do you think a magazine owner  starting  out successfully right at the start.  Know that they didn't have the experience in blogging. Of curse not.

now that you have the experience, The question that you asked yourself is How do you run and successful blog?  What do I do with my current blog isn't preforming as well  as you are wanting?

Reset Button:

Your blog is good enough But you might be able to get away with  hitting the reset button,  Numbr one is to refresh button  Which means to clearing the clutter and giving it a new look,  planning for the future is a must.

To refresh your blog getting rid of the post that are not useful and  post that are the weakest. Then tak a step back an take a look of other things that are on your blog, or if there is any tags, or  even widgets that are creting clutter and are not working.  Just get rid of them..

Do you feel that you need a calendar on your blog, or do you think that people are going to use it.  Does it sit above the Subscription  widget?  the best answer to those question are no?   It is time to give your blog a new look.  Sometime making the changes withiyour blog give you a new look. It give you a new start.

  2. I have been blogging for over 10 years and I have completely revamped my site several times. It's a great way to reenergize yourself and your readers. Change is good for your blog but one thing I wish someone had told me is that if you delete old posts make sure you set up a redirect or you will have a 404 page not found. If you have a lot of 404's google will drop your page in ranks and you will get less traffic.

  4. I have been blogging since 2012. It was not necessarily a pretty site at first. But I kept going. I wish my blog was more successful but I don’t have time to run it full time these days. I know I need to post more.
