Almost to late




This is a true story of a father and his three teenage chulfren shipwrecked off the cost of alaska in mid winter. The Father was resently Divorced a master carpenter what was living on social security disability  living with his three children.

Living on a floating house at the port in Port  REfungo,southeast Alaska that is jointed  British Columbia.  They were returning from a dental appointment Near by Prince Rupert. As they were involved in a blizzard at sea, Just when wortman came down with he flu.

After three long days, they found themselves shipwrecked on the rocky island. Then everything has gone wrong. The sepreated  in the thundering surf , they could salvage nothing from the crumbling yachet. They were stravng, as the move to the cave and started to build a raft. 

They were thing they were at an formiliarisland. As Wortman and Randy  set off to a cabin that  they once new.  To radio for help, as they left Cindy and Jena behind under the sail, After all they were expected to be back in three hours. 

But the cabin was seven mile off the beat path under the heavy snow, When Wortman and randy reach the abin the radio fails and is feet were swelling and was so hard to walk so they had to make crutches out of metal paddles. To assist them with walking.

They were so sick to paddle backto recue the girls, in the freezing weather under the wet sails.  Two weeks have past they were guilty that they left the girls and having the strenghth, enough to move the raft to go back a rescue the bodies of his girls. 

But they were still alive. By the gripping guilt that a father had blistering of the natural theme. 

This was an emotional story, that had an happy ending to it.  I love it so much.  that is why I gave it 4 stars.
