In a version of earth thousand years in to the future, careless of the 20th century enviroment practices has brought humanity to the brink of extintion. Technology has advancedsignificantly in the meal time, when time travel has been invented.
Collecting humans to send them to uncontation plant to rebuild civilzation. With time travel could only take humans that have no further effect on the time line. Those that have vanished no one could trace them.
Even die with out beingobserved otherwise they could change the past. prehaps there was a breakdown within the fabric of time.
So in orderto forestall the lost of humanity, snatching mission.
