Reading shortlist. |
You are wanting to read a good book, so you asked your family and friends to recommend some. You still searching for the right book. Finding the perfect book to read can be challenging. You read many book blogs to see what kind of book they recommend and their authors.
You're wondering still what should you read next:
Checking you're shortlisted for a recommendation, even a suggestion on what to read next.
Here are some of my top pick of books that I would like to suggest to read or to write on your shortlist or reading list.
Uplifting Love Story:
In Katherine Center's What you are wishing for a school librarian, Samatha Casey's world is shaken up when her beloved principal is replaced by her former crush, now with a safety obsession stiff. As they work together and learn about the suffering they've both endured, they find that even in hard times, joy is at there disposal.
Historical Fiction:
Fast girl by Elise Hooper blends fact and fiction to tell the stories of three trailblazing American women and their quest to compete in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Was told by an intricate in detail against the backdrop of a world on brink of war. The novel does shine a light on these long-overlooked athletes.
Riveting Memori:
Within the notes of silencing, Lacy Crawford recounts being sexually assaulted a student at the elite New England prep school. A decade later, the school comes under investigation for handling such cases. It was maddening and timely, this memior reveals the cost to victims of all ages and a large society when powerful institutions protecting their reputation, not their students.
Juicy Triller:
The golden cage one of Europe's best selling crime novelists, Faye and Jack met in business school and married. They had kids and build a billion-dollar business. But when the brash and maybe diabolical Faye discover jack's affair, she shows how far she'll go to get what is rightfully hers. The sexy scandalous and terrifying this is the kind of suspense story that will gobble you up in one sitting.
These books I have never read, which I have found and added to my reading list for future reads, to review them.
