The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants:   Four very different friends one pair of magical pants and a summer apart.  2001 by 17th Street Productions, an Alloy company pages 291.

A funny, perceptive, and moving book that I just finished. 

We the sisterhood hereby instate the following rules to govern the use of the magical pants.

You must never wash the Pants.

You should never double-cuff the pants. It is tacky. There will never be a time when he will not be so tacky.

Never should say the words "phat" While wearing the Pants. You must also never think" I am Fat" while you are wearing the pants.

You never let a boy take off the pants. (although you may take them off yourself in his presence.)

You shouldn't pick your nose while you are wearing the pants. You may, however, scratch casually at your nostril while really kind of picking.

Upon our reunion, you must follow the proper procedures for documenting your time in the pants.

The most important things are to write your sisterhood throughout the summer months, no matter how much fun you are having without them.

Must pass the pants along to your sisters according to the specifications set down by the sisterhood. Failure to do so will result in a severe spanking upon our reunion.

You shouldn't wear pants with a tucked-in shirt and belt. Must see rule #2. We have ton remember pants= love. Love your pals. Love yourself?

It reminds us that friendships are special and genuine. No matter what we are going through or we are having a summer apart, our pal is so special, and our sisterhood, a bond is growing stronger each time we are together.

The perceptive and moving book that I enjoy to read  It was a funny way a sisterhood has came together.  It was a book that I just wanted to continue reading to straight through until the end.   It was an enjoyable but outstanding and vivid book that was well written by the author.
